Private Arthur Thomas Walker enlisted on the 29th of March 1915, aged 32, at Keswick Barracks, South Australia.
Private Walker served with the 10th Battalion on the Gallipoli Peninsula from the 18th of September until the evacuation on December 15th.
He then spent five months in Egypt before being transferred to the 50th Battalion for service in France.
Private Arthur Walker fought in the Battle of Mouquet Farm, Pozieres and was killed in action on the 16th August 1916.
